Brisbane Courtyard Landscape Design

This new design for a young professional aims to create an entertaining and relaxing space in their private courtyard.  We created a raised timber entertainment area and framed it to define an outdoor room.  By using colour on a perimeter panel, it draws through the eye garden but also doubles as a privacy screen beside the neighbours.

Lighting within this landscapes allows our clients to utilise their new area both during the day and night.

Well established Syzigium provides instant greenery and the sense of an established garden.  Lavender features ornamental flowerheads throughout the year and the purple colour gives a cooling effect. Complementing the lavender tones, Native Violets are a low, matting groundcover.   The use of low level planting extends the view of the garden, continuing the illusion of space.
